We have had numerous requests from churches, family members
and individuals active in evangelism, for a prayer CD which can be given to
newly committed Christians. This project will not be just for new believers,
but also for those who may have been walking with the Lord, but who are unsure
of how to enter in to prayer.
This CD will offer prayer songs that are easy to grasp and cover every day
matters of the heart. These songs may open up with an initial offering of
praise, and quickly take the prayer towards talking with the Lord about a
variety of topics.
It will cover issues such as healing and improving relationships, being at
peace in the midst of trials, seeking God's provision, obtaining victory over
personal sin, and various family matters.
This CD will contain songs that address concepts such as putting on the Armor
of God, and asking God to release the gifts of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
It will contain prayers asking the Lord to bring His changes to their hearts
and lives.
These prayers will be grounded in the Scriptures with very specific references
placed right on the jacket so the user can find them easily as they begin
getting in to God's Word.
We're VERY excited to begin work on this CD, and we can feel Heaven's
excitement and anticipation as well. It's potential is HUGE and the need is
great!
We all know that once someone gives their life to the Lord Jesus, followup and
discipleship become crucial for thier successful walk with the Lord. We pray
that this project becomes a valuable tool to teach and example how to pray for
the new, or newly recommitted Christian.
